We are a Franco American family living n France and we are offering our recently renovated 3 bedrooms holiday cottage/gite (sleeps up to 7), in the Loire Valley region, Central France. We are based in the heart of rural France with its beautiful, ever-changing landscapes and huge skies. Its 'old France', full of medieval towns and villages, bustling markets, vinyards and vintners and fantastic family run restaurants.

The gite, an artist's home, is full of character and boasts original architectural details, beautifully patina walls, tiled floors with rugs (famous beginning of century "tommettes"), brand new kitchen (antique dishes), Bath and shower, comfy sofas, TV, DVD, games, Wifi Internet access, and even access to a private Sauna !!!

The cottage "Les Souliers enchantés" is located in the heart of Pontlevoy, a village full of charm, sharing a wall of the beautiful abbey and it's grounds, right in the center of the village. Parking is not a problem.

We can also organise for you special events : airport pick up - romantic getaway in Paris - Wine tastings - Hot air balloon rides - private visits in chateaux and mushroom caves - restaurant bookings....We are close to: All the chateaux of the Loire Valley, Chenonceau (10 miles away) Chamborg and Blois (20 minutes) the beautiful and cosmopolitan cities of Orleans, Tours and Bourges, just 1hr 30 from Paris on the train etc etc. Please do email us for more details.
